AFOSR STEM Educator Advisory Panel

Welcome! This is an ongoing leadership opportunity for educators affiliated with AFOSR STEM teacher professional learning programs in the National Capital Region. Whether you are a part of the STEM Teacher Leadership Academy or the ACCESS Lending Library Program (or both!), we’re glad you’re here.

As our programs continue to grow and develop, we recognize the need for educator input in planning and implementation. As a member of the AFOSR STEM Educator Advisor Panel, you will:

  • Meet quarterly at the National Air and Space Museum with the AFOSR STEM Team to help plan programs, learn about resources in the ACCESS Lending Library, and grow as educational leaders

  • Lead professional learning sessions within your own communities on ACCESS Lending Library resources (and share these free resources with colleagues!)

  • Meet engaging guest speakers from various STEM disciplines

  • Receive a stipend for your time

Schedule:

Spring 2025: Update EPAs and stipend paperwork as needed, mail out welcome kits
