U.S. PhET Fellows are K-12 educators based in Title 1 and CEP public schools in the United States who are committed to:
advancing student learning of math and science in K-12 Title 1 and CEP schools
improving teacher learning and uptake of math and science pedagogies; and
engaging in professional leadership growth through activities that increase accessibility and impact of PhET simulations.
The Fellows will serve as primary actors of the PhET for Schools Network and the wider U.S. community by leveraging their direct link to PhET team members and their robust professional networks. Previously, the PhET Fellowship has been exclusively carried out across Africa and Latin America. Read more about the 2022 and 2023 PhET Fellows, as well as success stories showcasing many of these Fellows.
The 15-month Fellowship includes 70+ hours of professional learning (April 15 - August 15, 2025) and 50+ hours of PhET-coached independent professional leadership practice (August 15, 2025 - August 15, 2026). Each Fellow will receive a stipend payment for successful completion of the program ($6,000), as well as reimbursements for expenses associated with the leadership practice (up to $2,000).
